DUAL-USE
ARCHITECTURE

ARXISLOOPS is architected from the ground up for dual-use deployment. The same passive mesh hardware and AI monitoring layer that protects civilian KRITIS infrastructure is purpose-configurable for defense-grade high-value asset protection — with zero spectrum conflict, no IFF complications, and no authorisation barriers under §90 TKG.

No jamming. No spoofing. No RF emissions. C-UAS layer that coexists with every other electronic system on-site — civilian or defense — without spectrum deconfliction planning.

MODULAR BY DESIGN

ARXISLOOPS® AeroBlok wraps the full asset perimeter. ARXISLOOPS® CROWN secures rooftops and elevated platforms. Both configure to the same dual-use specification — from peacetime KRITIS compliance to full defense hardening — without re-engineering.

Record · Registered · Tested

NOT A CLAIM.
A RECORD.

Passive counter-UAS is a category defined by what a system does not do. That makes it easy to assert and hard to verify. Everything below is a matter of public record or documented test.

Registered Corporate Purpose

Passive by Statute, Not by Marketing

The corporate purpose entered in the German commercial register (HRB 12549, Amtsgericht Königstein im Taunus) is restricted exclusively to passive protective measures. Jamming, electronic countermeasures and kinetic defeat are expressly excluded from the registered scope. The constraint is a matter of public record, not a product claim.

Protection Level

Engineered For High-Energy Impact

The interception architecture is engineered for high-energy aerial impact, not only for small commercial airframes. Design inputs are drawn from operational experience in active theatres, and protection performance has been assessed under independent field test conditions. Detailed protection levels and test documentation are shared under NDA.

Industrial Property

Registered and Filed

EU trade mark ARXISLOOPS® registered at EUIPO under 019334754 across Nice classes 6, 9, 37, 42 and 45. German utility models filed at the DPMA. 23 US provisional patent applications filed since March 2026, covering interception mesh, energy dissipation, payload arrest and passive acoustic cueing.

Framework

KDTC — KRITIS Drone Threat Classification

A five-level classification framework developed by ARXISLOOPS DEFENCE for categorising unmanned aerial threats to critical infrastructure by exposure profile and required protective response. Published openly for operator use.

Materials

Duplex 2205, European Supply Chain

Duplex 2205 expanded metal forms the primary interception layer across the product line, selected for tensile performance and corrosion resistance in unattended outdoor installations. Materials and fabrication sourced within the European supply chain.

Regulatory Position

Deployable Without Authorisation

Because the system emits nothing, §90 TKG does not apply to it. No Bundesnetzagentur authorisation, no spectrum allocation, no frequency coordination and no deconfliction with on-site systems. For a private operator under the KRITIS-Dachgesetz, that is the difference between a measure that can be installed and one that cannot.

Passive C-UAS · Regulatory Context · Reference

WHAT PASSIVE COUNTER-UAS
ACTUALLY MEANS

What is a passive counter-UAS (C-UAS) system?

A passive counter-UAS system physically intercepts unauthorised unmanned aircraft without emitting any radio frequency energy. It uses no jamming, no spoofing, no directed energy and no kinetic effectors. Active systems defeat a drone by attacking its control link or its airframe. A passive system defeats it by making the protected asset physically unreachable. Because nothing is transmitted, a passive system creates no spectrum deconfliction requirement, no identification friend or foe risk, and no interference with on-site avionics, communications or industrial control systems.

Why can private KRITIS operators in Germany not use jammers or RF countermeasures?

Section 90 of the German Telecommunications Act (§90 TKG) prohibits possession and use of devices capable of intercepting or disrupting radio communications. That includes RF-based drone countermeasures such as jammers and spoofers, absent explicit authorisation from the Bundesnetzagentur. For privately operated critical infrastructure this authorisation is in practice unavailable. Passive physical interception is therefore the only category of drone defence a private KRITIS operator can lawfully deploy on its own site.

What does the KRITIS-Dachgesetz require of critical infrastructure operators?

The KRITIS-Dachgesetz entered into force on 17 March 2026 and imposes statutory physical security and resilience obligations on operators of critical infrastructure, who were required to register with the Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe (BBK) by 17 July 2026. Operators must implement appropriate physical protection measures, including protection against aerial threats. Passive counter-UAS layers qualify as a compliant physical protection measure under this framework, and unlike active countermeasures they require no additional regulatory authorisation.

How should an operator prioritise which assets to protect?

By time to restore, not by asset value. A grid transformer, a locomotive fleet, an airport kerosene farm or a hyperscale cooling field may differ widely in book value, but they share the property that matters more: replacement lead times measured in months or years. A single successful strike on a long-lead asset produces an outage that no insurance settlement shortens. Ranking assets by reconstitution time rather than replacement cost produces a materially different protection order than a conventional asset register.

What is the difference between ARXISLOOPS® CROWN, AeroBlok and AEGIS ARCH?

ARXISLOOPS® CROWN is the rooftop and elevated-surface configuration, designed for dense urban environments and data centre rooftops where perimeter protection alone leaves the cooling plant exposed. ARXISLOOPS® AeroBlok is the perimeter exoskeleton, wrapping fences, external walls and entry perimeters in a 360 degree interception envelope. ARXISLOOPS® AEGIS ARCH is the overarching passive protection architecture, and includes the VAULT line of rapid-deployable Duplex 2205 barrel-vault shelters for assets that must be enclosed rather than screened. All configurations share the same zero-RF passive architecture and can be combined.

Does a passive layer interfere with existing EW or air traffic systems?

No. Because the system emits nothing, it is electromagnetically inert. It coexists with on-site electronic warfare equipment, radar, avionics, air traffic control systems and industrial control networks without deconfliction planning, and it does not degrade the performance of any active counter-UAS layer deployed alongside it. This makes passive interception usable at airports, military installations and mixed civil-military sites where active countermeasures are constrained or prohibited.

How does passive C-UAS relate to NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001?

NIS2 (EU Directive 2022/2555) requires operators of essential services, including digital infrastructure, energy, transport and financial market infrastructure, to implement appropriate physical and cybersecurity risk management measures. DORA imposes equivalent operational resilience obligations on financial sector entities. ISO 27001 Annex A physical security controls require protection against unauthorised physical access, which includes aerial approach. A passive counter-UAS layer contributes evidence of physical protection under all three frameworks.
